Are you (or do you know) someone who is in their last year of high school in 2026 and wants to be a Lighting and/or Audio-Visual Technician?
The Wilfrid Hansen Trust offers this highly contested opportunity for budding technicians to attend a week-long basic technical scholarship course during which they can get a broad overview of some basic equipment, practical skills and necessary knowledge or getting work in this field. We will also visit some of the professional performance venues in central Auckland and hear from guests on how they got into their roles
The course is held in Avondale, Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. All applicants are responsible for their own transport and accommodation. The course is free however application does not guarantee a place.
